China issues 90-day tourist visas via the embassy. The applicant must visit the embassy in person. Service fees cover Eros Africa’s paperwork plus an embassy fee paid at the consulate.

Documents required

What we need to process a China tourist visa.

Embassy appointment required. Guest has to visit the embassy in person.

  • Clear scanned passport biodata page.
  • Passport-size photo (white background).
  • Birth certificate (for minors under 18).
  • Accommodation voucher & return flight ticket.
  • 6-month bank statement with a minimum USD 6,000 balance.
  • Police clearance certificate (for adults).

If the visa application is rejected by the China Immigration Department, charges are non-refundable.

Agents must make the applicable payments to Eros Africa before any visa applications are made on their behalf.

Cancellations

Visa fees in the event of cancellation or no-show are non-refundable.

Processing timeline

2–3 working days, urgent options available.

  • Visa applications submitted to Immigration take approximately 2 to 3 working days to process (excluding weekends and public holidays).
  • Agents requiring urgent visas must contact Eros Africa directly. Additional charges apply for urgent applications.
  • Eros Africa Visa Team take no responsibility for any delays that may arise in the visa application process.

  • Tourist visas are issued by the China Immigration Authorities.
