Four-Day Safari to Samburu and Aberdares

  • This safari offers the traveler an opportunity to view game in a variety of settings and locations with the chance to see rare species in the wild beauty of Samburu. You stay in a wooden lodge built in trees.

  • While touring Kenya, Samburu is worth the visit. On the banks of a river, there is plenty of trees and water to attract animals from far and wide.

    Finally you will proceed to tree lodge either to the Ark, Treetops or Mt.Lodge. These are dramatic wooden lodges built deep within the forest. A floodlit waterhole and salt lick in full view of the comfortable lounge areas allow guests to watch animals at any time of night, rhino, lion, elephant and buffalo are regular visitors.

  • Itinerary:

    Day 1 - Nairobi - Samburu
    Depart from your Nairobi hotel or airport for the Samburu afternoon game drive. Dinner and overnight accommodation is at Samburu Lodge.

    Day 2 - Samburu
    Morning and afternoon game drives. Dinner and overnight accommodation is at Samburu Lodge.

    Day 3 - Samburu - Aberdares
    After an early morning game drive, depart for the Aberdares area arriving in time for lunch at the Club. Afternoon transfer to The Ark. dinner and overnight accommodation is at The Ark.

    Day 4 - Aberdares - Nairobi
    After breakfast, return to Nairobi and drop off at your Nairobi hotel or Airport.

Important Information

  • Tour returns to original point of departure.

    Tour concludes with drop off at your flight or hotel. Please note safaris return between 2:00pm and 5:00pm, therefore we recommend if you are departing Nairobi the same day you do not book a flight any earlier than 8:00pm.

Child Policy

  • Children under 3 years will be considered as infant and entry will be free of cost.

  • Children aged from 3 to 10 years will be considered as child and charged child rate.

  • Children above age 10 will be considered as an adult and charged adult rate.
