American University of Sharjah is an independent, private, not-for-profit, co-educational institution of higher education located in the United Arab Emirates. It was founded in 1997 by His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al-Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah.
